Medication management is not provided through the Virtual Clinic. Clients who need medication services are referred to a Centerstone location near their home or workplace.

Our Services
Telehealth
Our Virtual Clinic clients are only seen via telehealth. Telehealth means that you can see your usual provider using secure video chat via Zoom. Using a computer, tablet, or cell phone, you will be able to see, hear, and speak with your clinician and discuss your plan of care without having to leave your home.
Our telehealth platforms are confidential and HIPAA compliant so you can feel at ease that your privacy is protected.

John E Bell, DPM, LPC-MHSP – Licensed Therapist
My name is John Bell, DPM, LPC-MHSP. I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I trained at Liberty University and obtained my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am licensed in the state of Tennessee. It is my goal to help you find your better self. I am here for you, and I want to help you with your life challenges and align my skills as a counselor to assist you with this life challenge you are facing, feel less burdensome, and provide clarity where you may feel alone and without direction. I want you to know that you do not have to feel alone or face life on your own. I am available and willing to help you find your better day and clear path toward your best day in your life. I can relate to how you feel and with evidence-based coping skills that I can share with you; I am sure you will truly emerge from your life circumstance feeling better. Primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as an approach to help you, I will teach you the skills to reduce stress, lower anxiety in your home life and at work. Ironically, with these evidence-based skills you will have the skill set to help overcome depression and even feel more focused to handle occasional stressors that trigger negative feelings. Caroline Clipper, LPC-MHSP – Licensed Therapist
I’m a mental health therapist who works with individuals who often feel stuck in their own minds, highly aware of their thoughts, able to understand their struggles, yet struggle to feel fulfilled or happy. I help clients build a healthier relationship with their thoughts, create boundaries for overthinking, and reconnect with meaning, balance, and emotional well-being. I also support clients who identify as neurodivergent and are seeking a therapy space that is affirming, collaborative, and tailored to their unique experiences.
Emma Finan, LMFT, RN, PMH-BC – Licensed Therapist
Emma Finan is Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Nurse in the state of TN and is board certified in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. Emma has worked in the mental health field in multiple environments including inpatient, outpatient, and community behavioral health. Prior to joining Centerstone (2024) Emma was senior faculty at Vanderbilt where she worked in a specialized First Episode Psychosis clinic and worked with families living with a loved one with a mental health diagnosis. Emma has focused training on Family Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (attended Beck Institute for trainings) but works with a broad range of diagnosis including Anxiety, Trauma, Substance Use, life, and relationship transitions. Emma is originally from the West of Ireland and worked in both Ireland and England before relocating to the USA. Emma is married with one young adult daughter, and her hobbies include travel, walking on trails and socializing.
I am a client-centered therapist who works with teens and adults navigating a variety of mental health concerns. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, while also incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients understand and shift unhelpful patterns. I have a background working with children in school settings, which informs my understanding of development and early emotional needs. Currently, I focus on supporting teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and other common mental health challenges. My goal is to build a collaborative relationship that fosters growth, insight, and lasting change.
Stephanie is a Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and Licensed Professional Counselor, in Tennessee and Ohio, with a Mental Health Service Provider designation in Tennessee (LPC-MHSP). Stephanie is passionate about people healing by discovering or reconnecting with the best versions of themselves. She feels privileged to journey alongside clients through processing challenges as well as celebrating “aha! moments” along the way. For the past 8 years, Stephanie has worked virtually and in-person with adults and adolescents. She has served in a variety of settings including residential co-occurring and hospital inpatient and outpatient departments. Some of the approaches she uses are art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). A few of Stephanie’s specialties include treating mood disorders, grief and loss, support through medical diagnoses, perinatal mental health, perimenopause/menopause and other life transitions. Outside of work, you can find Stephanie swimming laps, making things, and spending as much time with family and friends as possible.

Hello, my name is Brenden Murphy. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2020, and specialize in treating adults with anxiety, chronic illness, ADHD/autism, substance use, and trauma. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as distress tolerance for managing negative cognitions and thinking patterns.
I have been working within the Virtual Clinic for 3 and a half years, and Centerstone for 7 years. With my clients, I prefer collaboration above all in order to meet their mental health goals. I enjoy working with young adults and women specifically, however I have successfully worked with many older adults throughout my time as a therapist. I am currently trained in CBT, CPT, and EMDR therapy, but I remain flexible with my approach to each individual client to best meet their needs.

Kimberley Slown, LCSW, LMSW, is a Clinical Therapist who sees clients of all ages. She has worked at Centerstone since 2018, currently supporting individuals ages 16 and older with life stressors, mental health concerns, and substance use challenges. Maria takes a strength-based, person-centered approach that allows clients to collaboratively guide sessions, whether through conversation, skill-building, gentle challenge, or deeper self-exploration. She integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Art Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Relapse Prevention based on each client’s goals and readiness.
